Why We Opened Wood Hound Products

Wood Hound Products came about primarily due our love of dogs making it the perfect business to pursue. We understand all dogs need those essential items; however, sometimes we just want that unusual item or an item special to the breed, creating a perfect combination for a specialty pet shop. From dog lover to dog lover especially for your dog.

How Wood Hound Products Got It’s Name

We are lovers of hound dogs as we have two Basset Hounds and four Treeing Walker Coonhounds of our own. In saying that, if you know anything about hound dogs, they have a love for chewing on wood. As a partner of Wood Hound Woodworking, you will find anytime you go into the wood shop, all the corners of the wood have been customarily rounded off. How does that happen anyway? Oh we know, those pesky wood hounds, hence wood hound products and wood hound woodworking were born.
